Ancoats, the Northern Quarter’s industrial neighbor, is an area previously known in the Nineteenth Century as ‘Little Italy’, drawing many Italians from Liguria, in northwest Italy, and Frosinone and Caserta, southeast of Rome in search for a better quality of life, and bringing with them fantastic food, wine and ice cream.

TNQ Restaurant & Bar is celebrating the areas Italian influence by hosting an Italian Gourmet evening on May 22nd, with six authentic courses – each served with fine Italian wine and presented by industry renowned Italian wine expert, Andrea Ruggeri.

Jobe Ferguson, TNQ Restaurant & Bar proprietor said: “This is the perfect evening to enjoy authentic Italian food, whilst learning about the extraordinary array of native wines the magnificent country produces.”

The evening will be accompanied with live music, with canapés and either Aperol Spritz or Prosecco on arrival and cost £60 per head. – visit http://www.tnq.co.uk
