I read the news today, oh boy.


Existential Crisis Musings

I wish I wasn’t writing this. I wish I’d have woken up this morning to my social media feeds being full of the standard Election memes and cat photos.  But no. Instead it’s been a constant stream of people’s faces, mostly those of young teenagers and children, who are either missing or dead. All because of yet another extremist seeking to inflict terror. Trying to find the words to even begin to express how I feel right now is so difficult. I’m disgusted. I’m angry. I’m shocked. I’m horrified. But above all, I’m heartbroken for those that have lost people they love. The parents who have lost their children; the children who have lost their parent.

For me personally, the events of last night and those which occured at the Bataclan in Paris back in November 2015 are two which have had a significant impact. I’m not at all undermining…
