This week The World of Drumming takes us to the city of Basel, Switzerland, home to one of today’s most unique carnivals and styles of drumming. Every year in this city around February and March, drummers from across the world and within the city itself come together to march through the streets playing in the Basel style, an approach that has become largely unknown in North America.
