Cities in Brazil, and states too for that matter, need to promote more of their touristic attractions.
For example, it took me almost four hours of searching and walking before someone, anyone, could tell me where I could find tourist information in Maringa.
Once I found the correct office in the city hall building, the ladies there were a wealth of information. Even the information desk within the city hall building wasn’t sure if they had an office that could give me tourist information.
The ladies even arranged for me to join a city sightseeing tour on a Wednesday. The tour normally only operates on Saturday and Sunday. If you are in Maringa and need assistance, look up these wonderful ladies on the third floor of the city hall.
