Bom dia, gente! Another day in Brazil, starting with cooler fresh air, followed by the hot rising sun on a clear blue day. I’ve been meaning to write a post about food in Brazil. I’ve taken photos over the past several days, and finally will share!
First, as I’ve mentioned before, Brazil prides itself on its nature and fruit like the U.S. seems to cling to a right to own guns or the need to ban guns (depending on what camp you sit in). Consistently, though, Brazilians looooove nature and their fruits and veggies. And I get it.
Well, first, check out their currency! The various wild animals found in nature are individually, proudly displayed on the bills! No fancy buildings or powerful leaders. Rather, the bust of the individual is the Efígie da República (Public Effigy), a national personification of the Republic used in both Brazil and Portugal.
