The New Northerner

Sunday was another beautiful day so we headed down to the Salford Wake Park at the quays to watch the Salford Wake Battles where pro wake boarders went head to head in competition. The wake park opened very recently and allows you to practise wake boarding using an overhead cable tow rather than relying on being towed by a motorboat.

Later on that evening, we headed back home to get changed ready for our friend Elin’s birthday house party. We put on our glad rags (bright red dress for me, navy and pink striped shirt with a purple blazer for Darren), cracked open the first Pimms of the summer, ate lots of yummy BBQ…
