This week saw the return of Manchester Pride. Events run from the 17th through to the 27th August - culminating in a street festival around Manchester's famous Canal Street area on the bank holiday weekend.
As a photographer, the parade is always a big draw - thousands of people turn out on the streets of the city to wave on the colourful (and loud) procession of representatives from local organisations and groups supporting the Pride movement.
